9531 has been reclassifed from a tender to an engine. Mark will get 2 more FF's from Mt Carmel and 1 from Belmont. This will make them a 5 man engine. One of the FF's from Mt Carmel is a Captain and will be the Company Officer for 9531. They have been assigned to Station 4. Here is a link to the Bayou Cane Fire District website. Schaumburg has a HEAVY Rescue that is assigned to Station 1. Alton has a Ladder that is also assigned to Station 1. Both Schaumburg and Alton will respond with the other Stations for working fires. Also at Station 4 is a 3 man crew and engine from Freeport.
They have been told that they will have a good water supply. Houma and other area's do not have a good water supply. They have been told that 7 to 10 tenders are now leaving the LSU Staging area to assist in Houma.
As most of you know, Mark loves paperwork. He believes that he is now an expert on NIMS ICS forms 204 and 214. He will be instructing a class on how to complete these forms later this year. Please let me know if you are interested in learning more about these NIMS ICS forms.
More later when I get it.
Steve
